Social Responsibility

     Social responsibility for UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO primarily means fulfilment its obligations on the timely payment of salaries and taxes. With no less importance are also commitments, which the company makes to the landowners and communities in the areas where it leases the land. It means the commitments to the each owner of the land plot (fair rent payment, help with the gardens processing, other responsibilities according to the land lease contract), as well as social investments, targeted on the regions development, environmental safety, professional development and staff protection.
    UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO is interested in efficient interaction with the stakeholders. Seeking to be transparent and open to people in 2014 the company opened “hot line” for its employees and owners of the land plots cultivated by the company, where people can address their questions and proposals.
    The company began the program of social medical security " We care about you» in 2016. More than 35 000 employees and lessors are proprietors of lot lands and their relatives were insured during 2 years.

Personnel

UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO employs more than 4,600 people, concentrated mainly in rural areas. The Company guarantees its employees decent working conditions, a fair salary, and labour law compliance.
We strive to create an efficient, result-oriented team of individuals, who are interested in updating their knowledge, improving their skills, and implementing interesting innovative projects.

Environment

UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO is guided by the principles of sustainable agriculture in all of its activities. The use of modern machinery and agri-technology means the Company is able to decrease its use of air pollutants while minimising any negative effects on the soil. With regard to this specifically, the Company takes a balanced approach to crop rotation and does not cultivate crops, which tends to negatively affect soil, especially in the case of rapeseed.

Community Support

Community support in the regions specifically where UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO is active is very important. Social initiatives are typically aimed at improving the standard of living of those in the area. The company is currently supporting 134 villages and 113 village councils.
UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO contributes to the complex development of the regions in which it operates, in particular through securing rural areas with social infrastructure. Traditionally, this has included contributing to kindergartens, schools, rural health posts, important infrastructure projects such as the construction of water and gas pipes, and road reconstruction. Active dialogue with community representatives is ongoing, so the decisions regarding the social development of every region are made jointly.
Also UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO saw supporting the Ukrainian Army Forces and mobilised employees and lessors as a very important aspect of social responsibility in 2014-2015. 

In 2020 the budget allocated to social development and chairity exceeded 33,3 million UAH.
