UPI-AGRO production units finished sowing campaign.

The structure of the sown areas of UPI-AGRO this year is the following: 28 257 ha sugar beets, 33 846 ha corn, 19 906 ha soybeans, 4 214 sunflowers, 150 ha barley, 2 335 ha forage crops.

Due to long lasting frosts and significant snow cover sowing campaign started this year with a two-week delay. Despite this, all works proceeded considering weather conditions and with the keeping quality marks and were finished completely.

As for today winter wheat condition is good. Plants root system is developing properly. Diseases of plants or damages by pests are absent. Thus, we can talk about a good potential for the yield of the winter wheat.

The total area of winter wheat in UPI-AGRO production units this year is 16 889 ha.
